Important — Two Head Versions Exist
Two cylinder head versions exist for the 1KZ-TE, identified by your piston type:
Early model — pistons have a single large kidney-shaped valve relief. Suits the head with valves sitting 1mm below the head face.
Late model — pistons have two distinct valve relief pockets. Suits the head with valves flush with the head face. This is the most common version and the head we supply.
